Some of my favourite art pieces from Higashiyama Kaii 東山魁夷（1908-1999）（ひがしやま かいい）
No obvious lines can be seen of sketching the precise contours for specific figures, but they stand out by floating changable lights in various layers. His painting mixed the Japanese and traditional Chinese Painting style called “xieyi 写意” or freehand style, which is very dreamlike and poetic.

Your breath condensed into the white mist in the cold air.
We visited Haworth today, it is a very tiny but exquisite, very traditional town. Lovely stores sit along the street with so many dedicate hand-made crafts, especially one dress shop called Rose &Co. Apothecary, very adorable, very English.
However, I cannot help to feel a little bit gloomy of this tiny town since it was built aside by numbers of tombs, and also because of the sad story of Brontë family. Mr Brontë is the only one lived until 84 yrs old. The rough and tragedylike life is that he lived in that lonely cold house while his wife and six children all dead in their very young age before they got 30.
